I just finished smoking 4 of them overnight with wild cherry wood. Roasted them an additional several hours wrapped in foil filled with garlic, butter, and Rosemary. Came out to about 13½ lbs, at the end. Tastes very nice.

You gotta enclose it more if you want that real tender slow smoke. 💨

Supermarket savings are great during easter. I've done 1 x lamb shoulder 2 x pork shoulder and I have a leg of lamb resting.

I just remembered I have a whole lamb leg in my freezer. I'm not going to cook that today, but I'm still having lamb :)

I'm braising mine in red wine this year. But I love burying it in the ashy coals to cook it too. Enjoy!

I stewed a lamb shoulder last light, it was wonderful. Braised six hours in wine, chicken brother and aromatics (bay leaf, rosemary, onion, celery and garlic).

Mint yogurt to go with it I hope.
