By the time I was out of 2nd Grade I had been to emergency 3 times. Stitches each time. Twice split my eyebrow, and cracked my head open when I fell backwards off a picnic table (I had put a lawn chair on and sat in) right after watching The Ten Commandments (playing King...lol).

I've broken fingers, toes, an arm and a leg and it was awesome, lol

Six Flags over Great America… about 10-15 years ago I had a youth group student puke after her 2nd roller coaster. She wiped her mouth and asked “what ride are we going on next”. She was the last of that generation. I hadn’t been that proud in years.

Haha gen x growing up in the country… I realized I was alive at least 1000x. Resilience in some kids …is still alive today. Endearing

My brother found a mini bike that was missing the pull-start assembly cover. He allowed his knee to get too close and exposed fat and ligaments. The ER doctor said he wondered if I was OK because he hadn’t seen me in a while. I said I was passing the torch to my younger brother.
