“Feeling That Way” was a reworking of a pre-Perry instrumental called “Velvet Curtain,” which, after earlier updates, had at one time been scheduled for Journey’s third album, "Next." When joining the band, Perry added a new chorus, and “Feeling That Way” was finally completed. The song is typically played together with the subsequent track from the "Infinity" album, “Anytime,” on rock radio and in concert performances.

Steve Perry’s voice is simply one of the best out there.

Gregg Rollie was an Excellent singer...hate he left the band right before they hit their pinnacle

Journey Without Steve Perry is Not The Same

Nothing cooler than seeing a singer open up and say "Check out these skills. I can rock this shit harder, higher and cooler than anybody"* *except Geddy Lee. 😁😁😁

That’s a great tune, as good as any of the top Journey songs. I wonder whatever happened to the other singer. He’s good, too.
