I decompiled the rom and discovered that it was bit banging a custom controller protocol over the normal controller’s data and latch pins.

Until I wrote my own driver, I had no idea Switch Pro controller had an LED around the Home button. Switch Pro controller fully implemented in Joypad tester. Direct webHID mode gives you access to test buttons, analog sticks, rumble motors, IMU sensors, and player/home LEDs.
