This looks nice Ian! Am I correct in saying this created new geo offseted from the initial selection? Is this new geo using normal maps from an Atlas that comes with the addon?

You have a choice between the panel cut being merged or is another geometry (offsetted) with some Cycles visibility property turned off to make it look like it's a part of the original mesh. There's also a geonode option but good only for low poly meshes.

Separate add-on specifically for manual panel cuts and not random.

Its details like these that got me afraid of doing sculpting and etc lol but seems like theres tools coming out ready to help on those sides, really like how this tool works
