This woman BLEW UP her own house for $327K and got caught by Find My Phone Angela Frase was a 60 year old woman from Sterling, Ohio who set up her insurance company over 5 weeks to blow up her own house She started by calling the fire department twice in 2 days about small electrical fires in her living room, claiming the house's wiring was bad The fire marshal couldn't find a cause but her insurance company moved her and her husband into a hotel while the home was being repaired Then on August 6 she drove from the hotel to her empty house, turned on her stove burner, filled the entire place with natural gas and left Just after midnight the gas ignited and the house exploded so violently that one side of the building blew out When cops arrived she told them she had been at the hotel all night and a neighbor called her about the fire The insurance company believed her and sent 4 different checks totaling $327,072 over the next 10 months 5 years later the FBI pulled her cell phone location data and found she had been parked outside her own house from 11 pm to 11:30 pm the exact night it blew up She had also forgotten to delete a Facebook post from weeks before saying "It's time to sell this place and move" After this she was sentenced to 2 years federal prison and was ordered to pay back every dollar The entire scheme was busted by the Find My Phone App
