"What I do, and I started doing this a really long time ago, I handwrite everything like it's my journal. When I'm memorizing, I'm not memorizing from a typewritten final draft page. I don't want to have that in my brain, and I don't want irrelevant stage directions to be part of it." "And then I do it again to see what I remember and what I don't remember. I try to write it from memory. And then I look, and I see what I got wrong. That process really helps me." "Then I try to record it with no acting. I listen, when I if I think I have it, I take three pages or something and you try to learn that. And then I look at the script and see what I got wrong." "Jon Voight taught me this when I was like 19, which is you unlace your shoe, and you have to do the speech lacing your shoe. If I'm trying to remember, then it's difficult to do. The car is 223,000." Dave Ramsey: "Well, that's just a couple hundred grand. Good for you!" Caller: "The cost is 223,000. I think I'm in a good financial position to afford the car." Rachel Cruze: "What's your net worth?" Caller: "Around 1.4 million right now." Rachel Cruze: "Are you paying cash for the car?" Caller: "I can, but I know that there's also benefits with a leasing structure. I own a small tech company, and I'm earning about 5.3% right now on my high-yield interest savings account.
