Brandon Gill represents Texas’s 26th district, he’s only 30 years old, and a young dad, married to his college sweetheart, sharp conservative voice. His his fans love that he’s this fresh, articulate, all-American guy who doesn’t come from politics. He’s a former Turning Point USA activist who jumped straight into Congress and immediately started going after what he sees as elite overreach, big government, and cultural decay. People see him as proof that young conservatives don’t have to be cynical or washed out, they can still be married, have kids, and fight for traditional values while staying relevant. The “young father in Congress” image lands really well with the base. He’s one of the few Gen Z/Millennial Republicans getting serious attention right now. He’s 32, born on an Air Force base in New Mexico, and grew up on a cattle ranch in West Texas. His dad was a fighter pilot who flew combat missions in the Gulf War, and his grandfather was a Southern Baptist preacher, so service and faith run deep in his family. At Dartmouth he graduated cum laude with degrees in economics and history, led the conservative student paper, and grew the Christian Union into one of the biggest groups on a pretty hostile campus. After college he worked as an investment banker in New York, then started his own conservative news outlet, the DC Enquirer, before running for Congress. At 30 he got elected as the youngest Republican in the House. He’s in the Freedom Caucus, serves on Judiciary and Oversight, and pushes hard on border security, cutting government waste, and protecting life. Lives in Flower Mound with Danielle and their two little ones. Classic Texas conservative story, ranch kid to Congress.

Waters hasn’t been present in Congress for months but Raskin has continued to cast her votes. This is similar to Kay Granger a Texas congresswoman that for 5 months was absent from Congress before being found living in a senior facility with memory care for dementia. Her votes had not stopped either. Term limits would eliminate this corrupt system.

The Christopher Columbus Memorial Fountain right in front of Union Station. It had been dry and in pretty bad shape since 2007, that’s about 19 years, before they just turned the water back on a couple days ago. It cost around $11.8 million to fix: new plumbing, cleaned the marble, safer walkways, and fresh landscaping. It’s part of a bigger push fixing up nearly 30 fountains across DC, including the big cascading one at Meridian Hill Park that had been off for about seven years. Nice to see them flowing again. Nobody’s put out an official number, but the pattern’s pretty clear with these old historic fountains. Once plumbing cracks, pipes corrode, and stonework starts falling apart after 19 years of zero maintenance, you end up paying the full $11.8 million like they just did for the Columbus fountain. If it had been kept running with regular cleaning, pump service, and minor fixes every year, you’re probably looking at maybe $20,000 to $50,000 a year tops for a fountain that size, mostly labor, electricity, and basic parts. Over 19 years that would’ve been under a million easy. The big repair bill comes from all the deferred damage piling up.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool got a fresh blue coating on its bottom this spring and the reactions have been very split, exactly as you’d expect with anything high-profile in D.C. What actually happened Crews drained the long reflecting pool (the big one between the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument) and applied an industrial-grade pool-style coating in a dark shade President Trump called “American flag blue.” It covers the old gray granite/concrete bottom that had been there for decades. The goals were to: • Seal leaks better • Reduce the algae/greening problem that made the water look murky • Give the water a richer, more vivid blue reflection • Freshen everything up quickly ahead of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations this summer It’s not traditional historic restoration it’s a pragmatic, aesthetic quick-fix using modern pool surfacing material. The pool still reflects the monuments, just with a stronger blue tint. The budget and timeline story President Trump repeatedly said previous estimates for a full fix/replacement were in the $300–355 million range and would take years, so his team went with this coating approach instead, initially projected at roughly $1.5–2 million and doable in about a week. He contrasted it with past efforts that “failed.” The reality check: • Obama-era work (2010–2012) cost about $34–35 million on a major reconstruction to fix leaks and algae; problems persisted afterward. • Little to no major structural work happened under Biden. • The new contract started near the low figure Trump cited but grew to around $13.1 million once more repairs and waterproofing were added. It took several weeks in May 2026. Trump personally inspected the work by driving through the drained pool in his motorcade. Delivering something practical and photogenic for the 250th anniversary

Jaxson Dart, the Giants’ young quarterback, introduced President Trump at a rally in Suffern, New York, last Friday. He led a “Go Big Blue” chant, called it an honor, and referred to Trump as the 45th and 47th president. Teammate Abdul Carter, a linebacker, reacted on social media with “Thought this shit was AI, what we doing man,” which sparked talk of locker room tension. Carter quickly followed up saying they talked it out as men and are good. no rift. Other players like Jermaine Eluemunor said the locker room’s fine and to focus on football. The criticism seems more about a young QB standing up for his patriotism not politics. The NFL has been notorious for continually disrespecting our Country and siding with the woke liberal lunatics rather than supporting the U.S.

They’re leaving Chicago and Soldier Field. The Bears have narrowed it down to Arlington Heights in the suburbs or Hammond, Indiana. Chicago itself is off the table. It’s all about getting a modern dome and the best tax deal, classic stadium politics. Decision’s supposed to come any week now.

Muslims in Dearborn are demanding churches stop ringing bells on Sundays because it’s now a Muslim-majority town and church bells can’t be louder than the call to prayer under Sharia. Local news and officials show the residents, including non-Muslims, have been complaining about mosques blasting the call to prayer over loudspeakers early in the morning, saying it violates noise ordinances.

George W. Bush gave $5k to Cornyn’s campaign this year, $3.5k for the primary, $1.5k the general. Karl Rove gave $5k for his election. They were both on the list of big-name Texas establishment donors trying to prop him up against Paxton. It didn’t work. Cornyn lost the runoff to Paxton a couple days ago. Those old Bush-Rove ties were a big part of why the MAGA side painted him as yesterday’s Republican. This means the old guard, Bush, Rove, the traditional establishment, still has money and connections, but they’re losing the base. They backed Cornyn hard because he’s one of their guys: reliable, institutional, worked with them for decades. To them, that’s loyalty and competence. To a lot of the primary voters now, it just looks like protecting the swamp. Cornyn got crushed anyway, 64 to 36. Those donations didn’t move the needle. The party’s changing, the old network’s trying to hold the line, but the voters are picking the fighters over the insiders. This is good and weeding out one swamp creature at a time.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the long, narrow 2,000-foot stretch of water running from the Lincoln Memorial toward the Washington Monument, which people sometimes call the pointy tower. It was recently drained, cleaned of algae and debris, and the bottom coated in bright “American flag blue” paint to fix leaks and make it look cleaner. That’s exactly what’s lit up on the bottom right now, that vivid blue coating. It’s part of the same big beautification push as the fountains. There was some “8647” graffiti sprayed on it while it was drained, but that was vandalism, not part of the project. The Park Police cleaned it up. That’s the only other thing anyone’s reported seeing down there. I’d love to see TRUMP light up the Reflection pool, what do you think?

Obama’s personal records are all hidden. No other president in the history of U.S. Presidents has had their background blocked out by the CIA. It has been said that everything we witnessed during his presidency was fake. Since Obama is still acting as a lead for the Democratic Party and very vocal on all aspects of American government, I think it’s time to see an actual birth certificate for starters. Does anyone believe his story or do you believe he is a fake?

Ricky Wassenaar, 63 now, already serving 16 consecutive life sentences for a wild 2004 prison takeover in Buckeye that lasted 15 days, one of the longest hostage standoffs in U.S. history. Last April 4th in Tucson, he killed three inmates: first his cellmate Saul Alvarez by strangling and stabbing him, then took a rock in a laundry bag out to the yard and beat Thorne Harnage and Donald Lashley to death. Two of them were in for sex crimes with minors. He later bragged to a reporter that he targeted “child molesters” and wished he’d killed more. Prosecutors just filed to seek the death penalty against him on top of everything else. He’s pleaded not guilty. Normally I don’t condone violence but when someone molests a child they get what they deserve.
