Our 1337 Ben Guerir campus welcomed Nobel laureate #PrEstherDuflo, Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL ), accompanied by #HamzaZakraoui, Data, Research & Policy Advisor at #MoroccoInnovationandEvaluationLab (MEL). From July 2 to 6, 1337 & UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic took part in the #MoroccanGamingExpo, showcasing how code becomes creation through the talent, energy, and vision of our students. On our stand, we featured 5+ fully developed video game projects, built entirely by students — blending immersive design, technical excellence, and original storytelling. We don’t just train developers; we empower digital creators. Our students also reached the finals of the Mobile Game Idea Competition, proving their ability to pitch bold, impactful concepts in front of a national audience. During the event, Scar shared 1337’s philosophy in his talk: "Code, Create, Innovate: the 1337 Vision for the Video Game Industry", exploring how our model nurtures creativity, autonomy, and innovation through tech. NCC - CTF (2nd Edition) Organized by the Association ECDH in partnership with 1337, the second edition of the North Coding Challenge (NCC) featured a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition aimed at testing participants’ technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking. نظمت مدرسة 1337 الرباط الأسبوع الماضي فعاليات المعسكر التدريبي للأولمبياد المغربية للبرمجة ، وذلك بشراكة مع وزارة الانتقال الرقمي و (MOI) Moroccan Olympiads in Informatics شاركت فيها نخبة من التلميذات والتلاميذ المتميزين من مختلف جهات المملكة، والتي انتهت باختيار الفريق الوطني الذي سيمثل المغرب في الأولمبياد الدولية للمعلوميات.

Three days. 30+ student leaders. 50+ clubs. 7 campuses. One mission. Two weeks ago, we brought together clubs from 1337 and YouCode for our first scale Clubs Bootcamp. From identifying shared challenges to building concrete solutions, they worked collectively on drafts of action plans and roadmaps that they will be implemented across campuses. For the first time, our clubs collaborated at this scale, discovering synergies, defining partnerships, and aligning on next steps. More than a bootcamp. A step forward for student-led impact.
