For western political leaders: by voting NO to a #CeasefireNOW in Gaza and the full resumption of aid deliveries, UN staff & support and Israel to allow resumption of water, food, electricity and communications to the people of Gaza - you are implicitly endorsing the indiscriminate use of a modern military against defenseless civilians penned-up (by an illegally occupying force) in a concentration camp, including women, children, elderly & sick and disabled. Hence, you are endorsing genocide as defined by UN international law and treaties. Your position is duly noted. Milan Olympics: the incredible figure skater on the left is Petr Gumennik of 🇷🇺 Russia (prohibited from competing under his national flag), despised by judges for his Russianness - ended up in 6th place. The struggling skater on the right is Yuma Kagiyama of 🇯🇵 Japan, who won the silver. Which makes total sense because Gumennik literally did not fall once in Milan. However, according to the 🇺🇦 Ukrainian athlete Kyrylo Marsak who ended up in the 19th place (out of 24), the Russian managed to exert ‘psychological pressure’ on him by just being there, this negatively impacting his performance and causing him to fall. Marsak described feeling "manipulation" and "negative information" while competing, explicitly stating, "It feels like the IOC is completely against us Ukrainians” for allowing “terrorist” Russian skaters to compete, following his disastrous performance.
