Soyeon was really shocked when she reached 6th rank at 9am!! she actually cares about the chart ranking a lot😭 so in the morning when she saw it, she immediately sent a bubble to thank us🥹 through the charts, she can see that she wrote a song which many people listen to, and she’s thankful for that 🫶🏻

Soyeon: Recently, because my contract ended, there has been a lot of articles about IDLE disbanding or ending. The five of us, not me alone, all of us together, have decided to renew our contracts. We decided before coming on stage today. Not me alone! All five of us members together. In the future, next year, three years later, forever, the five of us will be together so I hope nebobo don’t worry. Next year we will repay you with even better music. Thank you very much, we will become IDLE who works even harder in the future.

if i’m gonna toesa didn’t do well, soyeon wasn’t going to do more solo albums🥺 she poured everything into it, so she felt that if it didn’t do well, she didn’t have the musical talent😭 but bc we gave her a lot of love, she gained confidence and wants to make music for a long time 🥺🥹 #소연 #아이들 #IDLE

#Soyeon MAMA Rap translation What i want to say is, IDLE is forever Those worries are unnecessary Anyway, it is established that those kinds of people are not my fans Creative criticism Written with passion and dedication But if it was by someone related to the industry My cheeks turn red In 2021 you said this right? You said, what will you all become without soojin? Contract termination, whatever the company decides to do If I had been influenced by things like that, I wouldn’t have made it this far So walk and walk, let’s see what comes out at the end What do we what the hit Stop talking nonsense blah blah You probably don't want to believe it, but my abilities come with no smoke at all *may contain inaccuracies!

#Soyeon Gonggam interview 🥹 i didn’t release a solo album for 5 years. i kept giving the excuse that i was too busy to pursue solo activities. but what i realised while making this album, was that i was afraid of releasing a solo album. because i felt like i would make an album that i’ll be disappointed in. even the people i make music with, said that they didn’t know what type of song i should do. so i decided that no matter what, i would make a song and resolve it myself. i intended to keep writing songs until i wrote one that made me emotional, so i really wrote many songs. if i didn’t have this title track, i don’t think i would release an album. but after i wrote and listened to it, i felt like i was tearing up. so i decided that it had to be this song, it can be released now. i think it is a song that comforts me. “soyeon, you can do whatever you want. anyway, we will all become grandmas. protect the romance and your happiness in this moment.” i think it is a song that conveys this.

Soyeon: It doesn’t feel real that it is my second time receiving this award. Back when I was a trainee, there was no songwriting lessons for female trainees. But recently, there are a lot of new female artists who are writing songs, so I hope this award gives them some encouragement
