Kim Jongwan talks to songwriter Hyunhwang about Taeyeon 💜 “For me, that’s what Taeyeon’s voice feels like. So I really sympathise with what you said that you feel it the most when you’re tuning the vocals. I say this thing as a joke, but when I have to do vocal editing, after all the recording is done and I’m cleaning up and editing the vocals, I end up falling in love with the singer. Because I’ve kept listening to only that person’s voice. Working on Taeyeon’s music is so good. Honestly, there wasn’t much to do, almost nothing to tune or edit. I think it’s that feeling you were talking about earlier. Maybe because the vocal range and the emotional tone fit together perfectly, I don’t know. But for someone who works on it, the happiness you get from a vocal that aligns with you is big.”

Sing Again 4 Press Conference 🎤 Yoon Jongshin on working with Taeyeon: “She joined the latest, but I think she gives the most intelligent evaluations. She’s very cool-headed and very objective, and I was surprised. She’s the most rational, she and gives sharp critiques that fits the person’s standards, so I was really surprised. Especially when Taeyeon speaks right after my evaluation, I sometimes think, ‘Did I just say something ignorant?’ That’s how intelligent she sounds. I was like, ‘Is Taeyeon really this intelligent?’ She’s so cool-headed! Almost like a professor? Because of that, the contestants nod along as they listen to her. Compared to that, I started wondering if my evaluations sounded too cheap? So I was a bit touched. I thought I should be able to pinpoint things as sharply as she does, but, I end sharing laughs and lighthearted comments with Kyuhyun and honestly I wish he weren’t sitting next to me.
