Yall this is the most awkward video to watch. It was also the most awkward to shoot 😂😂 We had a KYL rack with the two smallest targets (quarter inch and whatever is next) at 38 yards and at 50 yards. You had to shoot far to near, big to small, THEN switch to weak side shooting - so left shoulder/left trigger finger, ya know, something I’ve never done behind a bolt gun on a timer and on a roof top - shoot the same sequence, then go back to strong side and shoot near to far, small to large. This is my first time using the 5.5-30 Burris Optics XTR PS scope in a match, and this reticle is just super easy to use. My zero is 50 yards and then for the 38 yard targets, I had to hold lower, which with this clear of glass was easy to do. This is not a perfect run, but I don’t care about that. I was just proud of myself for getting through it, doing something hard, and not timing out. NRL22, especially with the wind we had yesterday, is so challenging. Unless you’ve actually shot a match before, it’s hard to understand just how challenging the target sizes are and the positions you’ve got to work through. My VudooGunWorks barreled action with the TriggerTech was dead on accurate and fun to shoot. I can’t recommend the MDT Sporting Goods. chassis enough, which allows you to set the gun up perfectly to the shooter. Shout out to WieBad for making a great rooftop support bag. I had all my 5.11 clothes and boots on yesterday thankfully keeping me warm from some insane winds 🤘🏼 Best range clothing! Once again, had to talk to myself through shooting as that’s what I do when I’m still learning how to shoot a specific sport. Nervous panic talking 😂😂
