WEEKEND IN KITCHEN. Was in the kitchen all day yesterday, with the kids helping at times. We made homemade chicken stock to freeze in quarts. Canned both apple butter and apple jam, 2 different kinds of cinnamon bread, and chicken hearty stew. Thinking of baking more today.

HAPPY DAD I’ve never been more proud of Jacob. Friday he did his pal project on mental wellness. My heart filled with joy watching him speak with the other parents, the way he engaged, locked in with eye contact, and explained the subject matter with ease. That’s our boy ❤️
