Chinese people need to wait WEEKS to reserve a ticket for the Forbidden City, yet in my video i showed that foreigners can go on the same day, no booking I thought many locals would be mad and say its unfair because we dont have any preferential policy for foreigners in other countries, in fact when i went to Uzbekistan foreigners need to pay more than locals! But surprisingly my post on social media went viral and almost all Chinese said they support this policy. Some said foreigners might have trouble with Chinese apps and we should help them. Some said their itineraries are inflexible, cant guarantee to book in advance, and also they want foreigners to have the best experience here so they can share it when they go home. Unbelievable👏👏 and why i feel so welcome living here!

Washington Post and the AP claiming that Uyghur music is being banned. Funny because the song they mention, Besh Pede, is one i listened to the other day in Xinjiang. I also just went to a place called a "Wei Bar" the other day which is almost exclusively Uyghur music, that all Uyghur locals go to. No music ban at all here! The irony is that after 9/11, US radio groups had a "banned" list of insensitive or politically risky music. And also in 1989, the FBI tried to ban a record label putting out N.W.A.’s “Fuck the Police,” song.

I found a small Pakistani area in China - everyone living and working were foreigners! It’s close to the border so they can return home in 5 hours.. and they say they earn more money here. One guy even had a poster of Xi in his shop! Seems life in Xinjiang isn’t bad!
