In 2018, my wife and I spent our Christmas at the hospital because Ian, our late first son, was severely ill. While everyone is rightfully celebrating the festive season, Christmas is probably the worst time for hospital patients and their families. The hospital is more understaffed than usual. Most senior doctors and nurses are on leave, and those on duty are not the most experienced. In case of emergency, we would be lucky if our doctor could return in an hour. Not to mention the contrast of emotions between the highs on the streets and the lows in the hospital. This year, we are gratefully (and exhaustingly) celebrating Christmas with Neo, but I can't help thinking about 6 years ago—not to indulge myself in sadness but to cherish what we have now. I sincerely hope we are all spending quality time with our loved ones during the holidays. More importantly, let's not forget the less fortunate and the true meaning of Christmas: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Merry Christmas! Praise to our Lord! 👑

Although crypto is still prohibited in mainland China, it will be officially legal in Hong Kong. As a founder born and raised in Hong Kong, running a web3 company based in Hong Kong, I can tell you it will not be smooth sailing ever after. There are still many unknowns.
