Censorship at its peak. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann often speak about freedom of expression and transparency. But when all Punjab MLAs and ministers appeared before Sri Akal Takht Sahib to explain the Anti-Sacrilege Bill, the Jathedar made one thing clear: "Censorship is not a good thing." He then directed all media channels to live telecast the proceedings from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The contrast speaks for itself.

Shocking... In front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, AAP MLA Gagroop Singh Gill from Bathinda admitted that he signed the Anti-Sacrilege Bill without reading it. This raises two serious questions: Is Punjab being run from Delhi, with MLAs expected to sign or pass bills without even reading them? Is there no room for dissent or independent judgment within the party?
