Disturbing cases like this, in which a 24-year-old Alabama man is accused of coercing a Lafourche Parish teenager he met on Roblox into self-harm, suicide attempts, and sending explicit images, are exactly why I filed a lawsuit against Roblox. At the end of the day, Roblox must act as a responsible member of our community and do more to protect children.

Everything Roblox does is designed to increase user engagement numbers which increases their profitability. About 60% of its users are 16 and under. That's an enormous amount of exposure to liability - and an enormous amount of exposure for sex predators to get access to our children.
