The Alliance anthem echoed with deeper meaning yesterday. During the memorial service for Mugambi Kiai (Class of 1989, Grieve House, School No. 4951), Old Boys gathered to honor a man who carried the Alliance spirit with rare conviction. He once described himself as “I am Alliance, the mosaic burning bush that never burns down.” Mugambi believed in the power of the Alliance brotherhood and worked tirelessly to bring Old Boys together. As this anthem was sung in his memory, it reminded us that the spirit he embodied will continue to live on. Rest in peace, Mugambi.
