I am very pleased that the House of Commons just unanimously adopted my motion to condemn Hamas for its terrorist attacks on Israel & to demand the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.

On Thursday Hon. Marco Mendicino and I visited the encampment at UBC and saw signs glorifying violence and terrorist organizations. We are a country of law. The laws protect all of us. They need to be applied.

Today I rose in the House to welcome Jewish community leaders from across Canada to Ottawa. The adoption of the Combatting Hate Act, additional funding & flexibility for community security & clear messaging that all forms of anti Jewish words & acts are unacceptable is needed.

Today I was asked about the City of Ottawa’s decision to cancel its Israel Independence Day ceremony. It was a bad decision that should be reversed. Please watch my response.
