#WATCH | Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh: SP Bahraich, Vishwajeet Srivastava says, "Two people named Vikramjeet Singh and Manveer Singh were infiltrators. They were arrested... The three people who were helping them were also arrested. The main reason for their arrest was that these people, who were entering India, did not have any valid documents. Manveer is a US citizen and was entering without a visa and using illegal means. He was caught during checking... Vikramjeet, is a member of an organization in Punjab that committed an incident in Ajnala, Punjab, in 2023. He is wanted for this crime. A warrant is also issued against him... He had come here and used a fake Aadhaar card... Punjab Police has been informed about this, and action has been taken."

#WATCH | Regarding the ongoing dispute in Karnaprayag and Nagrasu, a jatha of Nihang organizations (jathebandis) was heading towards Dehradun, Uttarakhand today from Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan located in Mohali. However, the Uttarakhand Police intercepted and stopped them at the Himachal-Uttarakhand border. Just yesterday, the Jathedars from the Nihang side had expressed satisfaction after meeting with high-ranking officials. Despite this, a faction of Nihangs remains adamant about marching into Uttarakhand today.

The IO (Investigation Officer) should be terminated. Second, action should be taken against guilty Police officers. #WATCH | Ghaziabad, UP: On the Surya Murder Case, DCP Dhawal Jaiswal says, "An accident occurred on 28 May, in which Surya Chauhan was stabbed by an individual named Asad, who died during treatment. Based on a complaint filed by his family, a police station has registered a case against five people. A case was registered in Khoda under relevant sections, and swift action was taken, resulting in the arrest of the three main accused. Asad, the main accused in this incident, was absconding, and a reward of Rs 50 thousand had been announced by the police team. Today, the police team received information that Asad was going to meet some of his friends in the Khoda police station area and was planning to escape after taking some money from them. Based on this information, the entire team combed the entire area and set up checkpoints. In this sequence, Asad and one of his friends are seen arriving here on a bike. The police team attempts to stop them and warn them, but instead of stopping, they open fire on the police team. In the retaliatory fire, the police fire in self-defence, in which Asad is shot. Asad is immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. During this exchange of fire, one of our constables was also injured and has been taken to the hospital... Asad's bike has been recovered, and the pistol he used to fire has also been recovered. The police are conducting a thorough investigation of the entire incident and taking further legal action."

I was just sitting there, and I got the news from the people living in the colony that something like this had happened, and he was immediately pulled out of a huge pit. #WATCH | Mathura, Uttar Pradesh: SP Rural Suresh Chand Rawat says, "A case has come to light at the Govardhan Police Station in the Mathura district. In the Radha Kund locality, a young man had been residing for approximately 6 years, claiming to be a preacher who delivered online discourses on the 'Gita'. Drawn in by his sermons, several young, well-educated women had come to live at the premises... By systematically brainwashing them, he was continuously exploiting them. Several of these young women also reported instances of physical exploitation. Taking cognisance of this matter, a formal case was registered. The statement of one woman, who courageously came forward to speak out, was officially recorded. Based on her statement, a case of rape was filed against him, and he was subsequently arrested yesterday by the Govardhan Police." He adds, "He is a graduate of IIT Roorkee, having completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering between 2017 and 2021... Three young women were recovered from his premises and have since been taken to a de-addiction and rehabilitation centre by their respective families. The Govardhan Police are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation into the entire incident. Appropriate legal action will be initiated by the Mathura Police against anyone found to be involved..." (02.06)

#WATCH | Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand: A tense situation arose this evening over a gurdwara located in Nagarasu, Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. A dispute had been ongoing at the Nagarasu Gurdwara since this afternoon regarding the activities of around a dozen individuals. Officials said that the lights of the gurdwara were switched off in the evening, prompting security agencies to remain on high alert. Considering the safety of pilgrims and local residents, a heavy police force has been stationed outside the gurdwara. The administration stated that 30 to 40 police personnel and more than two dozen ITBP jawans are present at the location.
