Why El-Rufai is still in detention? Kaduna State High Court rejects his bail application and he (Elrufai) took the case to Court of Appeal…. And this is what happens in Court of Appeal. • Elrufai counsel applied for bail… and the judge reviewed the bail application. • Plaintiff counsel argued that El-Rufai should not be granted bail because he can run for exile or temper with the witnesses. • Elrufai counsel argued that he was released on bail to attend his mother’s funeral and he didn’t run for exile or temper witnesses. • Plaintiff Counsel argued that during his mother’s funeral there was Officers attached to him and he can’t do anything in their presence…. The Plaintiff counsel also presented video of Elrufai as evidence, mocking Late President Yar’adua and Fomer President Goodluck Jonathan…. That the two Former Presidents fought him and now One is dead and the other One was sent to Otuoke. • The Judge of Court of Appeal then rejects the bail application based on the evidences presented by the Plaintiff counsel.
