The United Football League is averaging 631,000 viewers per game this season. The NHL averaged 546,000 on national TV and the MLS averaged 120,000. Spring football has failed in America for 40 years - this feels like the first version that actually has a chance to last. The biggest reason why: The UFL became developmental football with real stakes, recognizable coaches, players people actually know and legitimate TV distribution. And in a football obsessed country, there’s real value in that. ⬇️⬇️

Johnny Manziel said something every college star eventually figures out: You think you know ball… until the league shows you how much you don’t. He walked into a pre-draft meeting with Bill O’Brien and told him he read linebackers under center. Bill stared back in disbelief. In the league, you read safeties, rotations, disguises and everything that happens after the ball is snapped. That moment hits every player eventually. College gives you confidence but the league gives you humility. No matter how talented you are, you learn fast that the NFL speaks a completely different language. 👇👇

John Rhys Plumlee’s day today was INSANE. He played in UCF’s 5pm home baseball game vs Memphis. Goes 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBIs. UCF wins 12-3. He then leaves the game in 7th inning, sprints out of the stadium & is escorted in golf cart to the football stadium to play in the UCF Football Spring Game at 7:30. Throws 2+ TDs. WILD. @PlumleeJohn is one of the best stories in college sports.

I sat down with new Virginia Tech head coach James Franklin & this one did not disappoint. I played for Coach Franklin, so I know him well… and watching him build a program from the ground up again has been awesome. This was NOT a surface level interview… We talked about why he took the Virginia Tech Football job, what went wrong at Penn State & what he wishes could’ve ended differently He opened up about pressure, criticism, leadership & how his definition of success has evolved. You’re going to see a different side of James Franklin in this one!! OUT NOW.!

One of college football’s biggest innovators is back at West Virginia. I sat down with Rich Rodriguez to talk about his coaching philosophy, why he coaches with a hard edge, and how he pushes players to meet a higher standard while still caring deeply about them as people. We also talked about how he helped pioneer the no-huddle spread offense dating back to Glenville State, the evolution of the game, and his thoughts on the modern era of college football. This is Rich Rodriguez — UNFILTERED.

“I practiced the day I transferred.” Beau Pribula opens up on @NextUpWithAdam about the most emotional moment of his career — leaving Penn State before the playoff run. It wasn’t about chasing NIL. He didn’t plan to leave. Just a brutal decision in a broken system. Now, he’s at Missouri — locked in, leading, and ready to dominate the SEC. We talked transfer portal chaos, NIL pressure, life in Columbia and what it really means to bet on yourself.
