The foal in this video is Quite Like Me, a 4 year old mare that was lost in the tragic fire this morning at Saratoga. She was bred by my longtime best friend and her family. Her dam was bred by them as well and was raised as an orphan by them after losing her mother. She was third generation on their farm. They sold her as they were moving out of the business and just wanted to see her race and go out and do the great things they believed she could do. I just want everyone posting conspiracy theories, placing blame, or taking time to bash the industry to just take a second and remember that the horses lost are what matters right now and the people that were part of their lives are suffering too.
