Latest satellite imagery shows ~19 burn scars along a smuggling route from Kufrah, SE Libya 🇱🇾, via Chad 🇹🇩 into North Darfur, Sudan 🇸🇩, strongly suggesting SAF airstrikes targeting a convoy likely linked to the RSF, making this one of the largest strikes seen in recent months.

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) say they shot down a hostile drone north of Sarkam in Sudan’s Blue Nile State 🇸🇩 on Thursday morning after it crossed from Ethiopia 🇪🇹. The wreckage appears consistent with a CH-95 UCAV, indicating its first known deployment in Ethiopia 🇪🇹.

Footage has emerged recently showing Colombian 🇨🇴 mercenaries, brought by the UAE 🇦🇪 to fight alongside the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan 🇸🇩.

The RSF 🇸🇩 appears to have received more of these unID UAE-built 🇦🇪 armoured vehicles, though this batch arrived in a desert camouflage scheme rather than the plain green seen on earlier deliveries. The APCs are also said to have been supplied to the RSF’s "Special Forces".

A transport vehicle for the Chinese-made 🇨🇳 FK-2000 air defence system has been spotted in Sudan 🇸🇩, further confirming that some FK units remain intact and deployed with the RSF. The system was originally supplied to the RSF via Chad after being purchased by the UAE 🇦🇪.

Sudan's Armed Forces (SAF) have seized additional Rapid Support Forces (RSF) weapons and ammunition caches in Gabrat El Sheikh, Sudan's 🇸🇩 North Kordofan. The haul includes DJI Mavic drones, FPVs, Turkish ILTER J350 C-UAS systems, M72 LAW, and 82mm Bulgarian mortar rounds.

There has been a notable increase in cargo aircraft departing from the UAE 🇦🇪 and arriving at Kufra Airport, located near the border region with Sudan, 🇪🇬 and 🇹🇩. Satellite imagery confirms the presence of around three IL-76TD cargo aircraft at the airport on both 21 and 31 May.

UAE-backed 🇦🇪 Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have carried out drone strikes on several fuel tankers travelling along the Kosti–Tandalti highway in Sudan’s 🇸🇩 White Nile State. These attacks are part of a wider RSF campaign to disrupt fuel supplies to SAF-held areas.

New footage from northern Ethiopia 🇪🇹 shows Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) trailers transporting FK-2000 short-range air defence systems, amid reports that they are heading towards the Benishangul-Gumuz region, near the border with Sudan 🇸🇩.

UAE-made 🇦🇪 Calidus MCAV-20 armoured vehicles were spotted with Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) troops moving along the A2 road towards Adigrat in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia 🇪🇹.
