I've defended Patrick Queen more than most but there were so many ugly plays of his from the Browns game. Lunging and whiffing on tackles, getting bodied by WRs in the run game, throwing receivers down for PI. This is all in the 1st half. #Steelers

DK Metcalf taking a rep at gunner with 2 minutes left and the game on the line against the Ravens. What a mad man in all the best ways. Crazy selflessness. Draws two blockers on a massive field-flipping punt. You gotta love it. #Steelers

With hindsight's benefit, this moment from Mike Tomlin's interview with Rich Eisen sticks out. "I've been up a long time today. This is probably the 1st time I've talked to anyone. I've been in dark rooms." The life of a coach, no doubt. But I think Tomlin was just plain tired.

Like you, I didn't know much about #Steelers 6th round pick Gabriel Rubio. Turning on the tape - I get it! Injuries hampered his career but there's high-level run reps all over his film. More than held his own against LG Vega Ioane in 2024 (he's No. 97).

The play that got me the most. - Rodgers makes check at the line - B. Jones doesn't seem to get the call, steps wrong way, doesn't know what to do - McCormick failed cut block on M. Williams (don't even like asking him to try) - Run goes nowhere, Rodgers visibly confused

Pirates franchise. Brought back Cutch after injuries hit my outfield. Trailed the Phillies 5-1 going into the 7th. Rallied back with Cutch hitting go-ahead homer off the rotunda. Storybook stuff in this virtual world.

Aaron Rodgers' worst 3-play sequence from last night. 1. Wants to throw 'hot' to Metcalf. EDGE drops and Rodgers eats the play 2. Sails short throw to Gainwell vs pressure 3. Forced & bad ball on "fade" to Metcalf As bad as I've seen him. #Steelers

Three times Sunday, the #Steelers ran the ball on 2nd and 10 after a 1st down incompletion. The results? Gains of 1, 3, and 0 yards. The drive results? Punt, punt, and punt.

Even if you accept Diontae Johnson's answer that he never saw Jaylen Warren fumble, he doesn't even try to chase after the ball after he sees it going the other way. Total non-effort. #Steelers

Keeanu Benton had 7 tackles last night. His furthest one downfield might've been his biggest. Hustle to chase Derrick Henry down the sideline probably saved a TD. Following Cam Heyward's lead with all-out effort. #Steelers

FWIW: Seems like #Steelers under Omar Khan call their picks before they're on the clock. Draft video of Derrick Harmon in 2025. Can hear Khan say "stay with us here" & "3 minutes" before officially making him a Steeler. Seems same played out with Lemon until PHI traded up.

Steelers rookie LG Mason McCormick (#66) has really stood out to me the first two games. More comfortable in his pass pro technique than I expected. Good snap out of his stance, works his hands well, good base, moves people in run game. Strong summer performance. #Steelers
