The prime example of having an innate gift and honing to your best ability. Breath control unfaltering, tone sublime and musical choices unique as ever. Saying that we will never see a voice like her on the main stage again is the understatement of a lifetime, truly.

This performance is a masterclass in how to deal with a changing voice. The runs are expertly placed and while the stamina is not what it used to be, she has the power to make each belt feel poignant. Her gospel roots never shined brighter than during these years when she had to handle ballads.

She always lit up whenever she got to sing gospel. An evangelist!
