Israel & Iran a biblical story : 👇 1. I once to gave Rabbi a ride. We got talking in the car about where I was from. And eventually, he just wanted to leave me a piece of wisdom. So at the end he asked me : do you know why all the empires that have come against Israel have been broken and shattered, but Persia has 2500 years of central government? ( I was surprised that he knew that most people don’t know about the continuity of government) I responded “no”. 2. He said because all the empires cursed Jewish people but the Persians blessed. The Babylonians and the Roman destroyed the temple & Jerusalem, the Greeks corrupted it from inside, the Egyptians, the Assyrians all curses, and so they were destroyed and scattered broken into pieces like Rome. But the Persians blessed issued decree for the captives to be free and the temple to be rebuilt. Another king at the time of Nehemiah issued the decree for the walls of Jerusalem to be rebuilt & yet another king sided with Esther & Mordecai and executed the Amelikites. ( king Agag’s son the royal line) & so the Persian blessed at every turn and as a result, central government held for 2500. In 2003 I listen to the radio show in Farsi broadcast from Jerusalem to Iran the guest was Shaul Mofaz the minister of defence under Barack. He was six years old when his family made Aaliyah from Iran. He was fluent in Farsi ( Persian language) at the end of the show they opened the phone lines a woman called from Iran & said you owe us a debt when you were helpless and captive we freed you & now it’s your turn to help us. This stayed with me somehow resonated. Then in 2023 Gila Gamliel the minister of Intelligence of Isreal invited the crown prince of Iran to come to the shoah memorial he also met with Bibi ( wonder what was discussed 🤔) after he left. I watched an interview with her. She said she was praying at the Kotel and the idea came to her soul that the Jewish people owed debt to the Persians and we would be paying it back now in helping them free themselves. I found it interesting that 20 years apart a Persian and Judean woman received the same thoughts based on the template of the ancient architecture of mutual blessing. Solomon said he who gives to the poor lends to the Lord and the Lord will repay him… Today Israel is paying back its debt, what the people of Iran do with it is theirs to take advantage of or squander. The judgement is falling on the Islamic overloads. the nation has mostly withdrawn from that religion and is looking to it’s pre-Islamic period for a template when it comes to the relationship with the people of Judea…..
