Religious Leaders We Cannot Continue To Launder Bad Leadership!!! Today, at a breakfast organized by the Patriotic League of Uganda, Apostle Grace Lubega described the political outfit led by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces of the UPDF, as peaceful, not abusive or subversive. The facts say otherwise. A simple scroll through General Muhoozi's X account shows execution threats, abduction threats, and abuse of power. That is the opposite of peace. It is subversion. Apostle Grace Lubega is my spiritual father. He leads a ministry that gathers up to 20,000 Ugandan youth every week. Members of that same ministry have been abducted simply for holding the head of this political outfit accountable. Religious leaders must start speaking truth to power, especially on politics. A church with that many people must realize that its words shape how its members interpret the politics of the day. You can raise sheep who never question power, abuse, bad leadership, or bad governance. Or you can raise people like Christ. Christ stood up to bad leadership. He told the scribes and Pharisees "Woe unto you, hypocrites!" (Matthew 23:13) and called Herod "that fox" (Luke 13:32). He demanded accountability. He told the temple traders they had made God's house "a den of thieves" (Mark 11:17), and when struck unjustly he asked, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil" (John 18:23). He stood for the oppressed, sent "to preach deliverance to the captives... to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4:18). He spoke against injustice, condemning those who neglected "judgment, mercy, and faith" (Matthew 23:23) and "devour widows' houses" (Mark 12:40). Church, we cannot claim to follow Christ and stay silent while power abuses the people. Speak.

CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba, "the Cabbage," should arrest himself. The very reasons he gives for picking up Elwelu, abuse of power and participation in subversive activities, are exactly what he is doing. PLU has continued to canvass for his presidency, hiding behind the law and disguising a political power game as a fight for freedom, against corruption, and for the rule of law. Very Subversive. They started with Anita Annet Among because she had built political power and was a political threat. It was never about corruption. If it were, they wouldn't have brutally arrested the youth who marched to Parliament. Subversive much. Then they launched an "anti-corruption" campaign through Balaam's office as Minister of Local Government. But they wear PLU shirts and hold cameras. He is now a content creator, marketing Muhoozi as the man who has come to fight corruption. Extremely Subversive. They picked up Elwelu because he doesn't support Muhoozi's presidential bid. Now they claim he led subversive activities in Teso, simply because he opposes Muhoozi's illegal candidacy. So Subversive. PLU should stop laundering its illegal presidential campaign. And Muhoozi Kainerugaba should arrest himself, because he is the one engaging in the most subversive activities. #FinishTheCabbages

A man claims he wants to govern as a president but he is not ready to listen to dissenting voices. Judiciary Uganda has clearly failed to protect Ugandans from the illegality that is the cabbage and pilau (PLU). His lawlessness has gone unchecked by those who are institutional supposed to check him. Yoweri K Museveni endorses the abductions, the tortures and impunity. Its our duty as Ugandans to end this madness and finish the cabbages. #FreeSamMugumya #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersinUganda

Their idea of peace and reconciliation involves us shutting up about their injustices and us trusting them to handle a mess they created. They want to tell us how to express our grief as if the names behind the statistics of abduction, torture, death and poor education/legal/health sector are just statistics. These are people who were denied a future. It's children that were orphaned. It's the dignity of Ugandans that has been abused in all forms. You will not strangle us and then tell us how to fight! You are so bothered with your behavior being described than addressing issues Ugandans have raised for 40yrs. Surely 40yrs are years of enough patience. Everyone has a limit. If you have sunk to the point of criminalizing friendships why are you so hurt being called a cabbage? #FreeLouisNinsiima

We are not respecting elders who are not respecting themselves! Now you can choose to foam at the sides of your mouth in disagreement or go about abducting Ugandans to silence them but it is what it is! Sam Mugumya has to learn how to walk because he was demanding for better rule! We are still demanding for King Zale Erias Lukwago is at the verge of death and yet he cannot be released. He shouldn't even be in prison in the first place! Kizza Besigye's freedom is being negotiated by the very people that abducted him from Nairobi. A cabbage is turning the army into a partisan outfit and undermining civilian authority! A country is being destroyed by one family. What about that deserves respect? Cabbages #FinishTheCabbages

It takes cowardice to avoid partaking in actual truthful campaigns in the bid for presidency! It is easier to abduct, kill and torture and come on X to threaten Ugandan's with execution. What is hard is organising an ideology bold enough to win in free and fair politics! #FinishTheCabbages #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners

It's understandable that we are all scared! But the truth is more people die in Uganda annually due to the poor systems than those that have died in all Ugandan protests combined! Staying at home on 23rd will not save us! The #March2Parliament brings us a step closer to change!

False humility aside. For you when you see the regime apologists and thieves reposting that go fund me. You don't feel the pain in your heart. When people in Mulago are sleeping on floors. Women and girls are dying in village hospitals. So you're going to pretend?!!

The alternative to elections is BOYCOTTING them. It doesn't mean we fold our hands in our homes. That means we run campaigns not for political positions but to create a critical mass that is fearless and partyless. When that mass is created then we start a colour revolution.

Guys be very wary and careful of young politicians that are career politicians! Their ambitions are about getting more and more positions of power without impact. They exist both at academic and national level! Resist them! Jumping from one political party to another!
