Good to see former Major and current US Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, training alongside troops. In every army, soldiers draw inspiration from leaders who are willing to meet the same standards they expect from their men. Leadership by example remains the most powerful form of motivation. As we say in the Indian Army, officers must always lead from the front. #PeteHegseth #USDefenseSecretary #IndianArmy #LeadFromTheFront #MilitaryLeadership #TroopMotivation #Discipline #SoldierSpirit #Leadership

Sometimes, what a soldier truly seeks after a lifetime of service is not privilege but dignity. ✨ A bit of respect. ⏳ A bit of time. ❤️ A bit of concern. A recent incident from Uttarakhand quietly reminds us of this simple yet profound truth. A senior police officer, holding the rank of IG, chose to pause, listen and truly listen to a retired Army Colonel facing a land-related issue. No protocol barriers. No indifference. Just empathy. Just action. His words carried the weight of the nation’s conscience: “You gave your life for the nation, we’ll take action immediately.” That moment was not merely about resolving a grievance. It was about acknowledging sacrifice. It was about honoring a life of service, even after the uniform is folded away. The veteran, Colonel Soban Singh Danu (Retd.), who reportedly lost a limb in the line of duty, represents countless soldiers who have given everything often silently, often without expectation, often without asking for anything in return. And yet, when the system responds with humanity, it restores faith not just for one veteran, but for an entire fraternity. This is what veterans seek. Not privilege, but respect. Not attention, but acknowledgment. Not sympathy, but dignity. 🇮🇳 #Veterans #Respect #Leadership #IndianArmy #Police #CivilMilitaryRelations #ServiceBeforeSelf

🎖️ The Soldier Who Never Retired Can dedication to duty transcend life itself? For generations of Indian soldiers, the story of Captain "Baba" Harbhajan Singh has symbolized unwavering commitment, courage, and the enduring spirit of service. In 1968, while escorting a mule convoy near Nathu La in Sikkim, he tragically lost his life. Over the years, countless stories and military folklore have emerged about his continued presence on the border, inspiring soldiers serving in some of the world's harshest conditions. Whether one sees these accounts as legend, tradition, or a reflection of the extraordinary bond shared by soldiers, the message remains the same: Duty is not just a responsibility—it is a way of life. The Indian Army has always been built on values that transcend individuals: honour, sacrifice, camaraderie, and service before self. Stories like that of Baba Harbhajan Singh remind us that true leadership is measured not only by achievements during one's lifetime but also by the legacy one leaves behind. Some legacies are remembered in history books. Others continue to inspire generations. 🇮🇳 "The nation will always remember those who dedicated their lives to its service." #IndianArmy #Leadership #DutyFirst #MilitaryHistory #Legacy #ServiceBeforeSelf #Inspiration

Meet Lt. Cdr. Pravin Tullude, a commissioned officer of the Indian Navy who left the Navy 18 months before completing his pensionable service to become a clown for terminally ill children. What a glorious passion for life. Salute to you, sir! 🫡

"The safety, honour & welfare of your country come first…” The timeless IMA Credo as brought out by Lt Gen Yuvraj Malik, our first Commandant, still shapes leaders today. Times change. Tools evolve. But ethos remains eternal. 🇮🇳 #IMA #Leadership #IndianArmy #ServiceBeforeSelf
