As an older guy myself, I can say this with confidence: It's not ageism to suggest that there's an age, once reached, when politicians shouldn't be making decisions that impact millions of lives. Citizens have a right and a responsibility to demand full cognitive abilities.

There is one common theme, and it's discussed in this video: MAGA Cult Members (and this is a central theme to Cults) care more about what those in the Cult (what they often refer to as their community) than even their closest friend or relative. I agree with her on all accounts. The world is looking at us, shaking their heads, wondering what the hell is wrong with all of us. Why? Obviously because of what's going on here but more importantly how it affects them! Of course she's right about Trump but she's also right about Democrats. Too many Dems play along and act as though this shit is somehow normal. They are not fighting hard or loud enough and have lost my respect too. No the two groups (one being an authoritarian movement trying to destroy our Nation as we know it and the other is a weak political party in opposition) not the same. This is not about "they're both evil." It's about one being evil and the other being incredibly weak and ineffective, collectively. They should all stand up together - walk out of Congress together - turn their backs on Trump at the state of the union, together - Hold rallies together, DO FUCKING SOMETHING, ANYTHING, TOGETHER TO STOP THIS TYRANT! Republicans are trying to destroy our democracy and Democrats haven't done enough to stop them. That's our situation in a nutshell. And the world is looking on in disbelief and suffering right along with us, while thinking we're all fucking idiots. It's hard to prove them wrong.
