Just finished a three-hour discussion with 50-60 undecided voters covering everything from cost-of-living and immigration to Wigan Roller Rink! People are really engaged in this by-election and it is brilliant to see. Thanks for coming along, everyone. 🙏🏻

After the Manchester 10k, campaigning in the hills of Hindley was a tough ask! And my opponents are getting a little more desperate in what they are throwing at me. But I won’t be deflected and am sticking to the game plan! 💪🏻

Here’s my second daily campaign update from sunny Worsley Mesnes. Today I’ve been speaking personally to undecided voters, listening to them and directly addressing the difficult issues. My message is clear: I am standing to change Labour.

I am so proud to have the support of Marie Lyon, Makerfield resident and indomitable Primodos campaigner. I will support her and all the families affected until they get justice.

It can’t be a bad Monday morning on the campaign trail when it starts with a pint of Guinness in the oldest Irish club in the UK! ☘️
