A plea to Asian Parents: just let the white people have the Violin. Don’t torture your kids and ruin their childhood in an attempt to usurp something that is fundamentally Not Theirs. I don’t care if Ling Ling practiced 40 hours a day and won a competition at age 4 on a 1/32 sized nano violin. Ling Ling will never let the listener forget how hard she’s trying.
