Today, the delivery system of an airborne biological weapon is the human lung set. During the Cold War, before genetic engineering made such things possible, the idea was to put a warhead loaded with BW on an ICBM and send it across the world. Guess who *invented* the ICBM? Answer: the Nazis, with the invention of the V2 rocket, pioneered by Nazi scientists (and later chiefs of the U.S. Apollo program) Wernher von Braun, Kurt Debus, and Walter Dornberger. All three men were members of the dreaded SS (Schutzstaffel) during the war, a fact NASA helped keep hidden until very recently.
