Had this DM'ed to me. Can't help but wonder what was up with AD tonight.

I still haven’t stopped thinking about this play. Great pass from D’lo and then what in the world from Austin lmao

Listen to this. Incredible.

This pretty perfectly sums up the game

I'm sorry, but it worries me that the Lakers' backup center can be heard getting up from chairs

Sources: The Lakers have been in contact with the Bucks and Pistons as a part of a potential multi-team deal that could send Giannis to Miami. Isaiah Stewart is a name that keeps coming up in connection with the Lakers. (For Offside)

Reporting on a weird night for the Lakers. I'm told they had a promise in place to Veesaar, got swooped, then sold back out of the draft. (For Offside)

In other news, I'm told Dalton Knecht approached the Lakers front office recently and has asked to be traded. It's expected they'll grant his wish. More here, for Offside:

But like… this isn’t X’s and O’s, lol

OKC didn't come through, but if the Lakers handle business against Utah and Denver loses, they get the three seed. Still, give me the Rockets over the Wolves any day—chaos in Houston is LA's best path forward! 🏀🔥 (for Offside)

I'm told the Lakers feel like their chances at landing Giannis are being discounted. I try to explain why, including the tidbit that Giannis has them on his list of teams he'd like to play for and extend with. My latest, for JoinOffside:

So I recorded today's show with my office door cracked open because my kids were eating in the next room and I wanted to make sure they were safe. My son then literally crashed through said door and it led to all of this.

.Jovan Buha and I were live when the Looney news dropped. I like that he can help get this offense create more possessions. I am nervous that he's washed, though and the stats Jovan gave about his finishing are really bad. Stick around for the joke at the end.

Lakers summer league team is legit fun. Cam Carr just keeps impressing. Adou Thiero just keeps dunking. The whole team just keeps winning. Oh and Rob Pelinka was in rare form, chatting it up with a certain RFA 👀👀👀 (for Offside)

Made this because I miss these commercials

Every game has become a referendum on Luka Doncic. I asked Daman Rangoola about whether #NicoWasRight, for JoinOffside

The Lakers traded Gabe Vincent for Luka Kennard and now all I can think about is them putting together the funniest lineup in quite some time. My Offside recap:

I legitimately feel like the league should make Ballmer sell the Clippers. There's no punishment he'll actually feel and he clearly doesn't care about cap rules.

What to make of all the LeBron-Warriors noise? I have a few theories and while this stuff is fun, I still have LeBron returning to the Lakers. (for Offside)

Man. (via AD’s IG)

Based on what I'm hearing, here is the Lakers' to-do list for the deadline: 1. Pray Giannis isn't traded. 2. Line up Plan B options. 3. Shed salary/open a roster spot for the buyout market. My JoinOffside breakdown:
