अपने नाटक ‘जाने पहचाने अनजाने’ के लिए अमेरिका और कनाडा जा रहा हूँ। दो महीने से पहले वापसी नहीं होगी, इसलिए सोचा माँ को हँसते-हँसाते अलविदा कह दूँ। लेकिन माँ के साथ बातचीत कहाँ से शुरू होकर कहाँ पहुँच जाएगी, इसका कोई भरोसा नहीं! वो भी कश्मीरी भाषा में! 😂😍🥹 बात शुरू हुई उनके बचपन और उनके कज़िन्स से। उम्र के एक पड़ाव पर शायद इंसान अपने बचपन के गलियारों में ज़्यादा घूमने लगता है… क्योंकि वहाँ की यादें न बूढ़ी होती हैं, न उनका रंग फीका पड़ता है।फिर अचानक चर्चा पहुँच गई राजू की रंगी हुई मूँछों पर! उसने मूँछ ठीक से धोई नहीं थी, तो वह बिल्कुल चार्ली चैप्लिन की काली मूँछ जैसी लग रही थी। भाभी उसकी सफ़ाई दिए जा रही थीं, माँ मेरी बात सुनने की कोशिश कर रही थीं, और मैं समझने की कोशिश कर रहा था कि इस घर में असली विषय आखिर चल कौन-सा रहा है! 😂 यही तो एक साधारण घर की असाधारण खूबसूरती है—एक साथ कई बातें, कई आवाज़ें, कई सफ़ाइयाँ, थोड़ी हँसी, थोड़ी पुरानी यादें और ढेर सारा अपनापन।😍😍 माँ को छोड़कर इतने समय के लिए जाते हुए थोड़ी चिंता तो होती है। उनका वज़न कम हो रहा है, इसलिए मन कहीं न कहीं उनके पास ही अटका रहेगा। पर फिर उनकी हँसी देखता हूँ, उनकी बातें सुनता हूँ, तो लगता है—ज़िंदगी अपनी सारी चिंताओं के बावजूद कितनी खूबसूरत है।माँ का आसपास होना ही घर का घर होना है।❤️❤️❤️ Raju Kher #DulariRocks #MomsAreTheBest

We approached it with such seriousness and innocence as if we were shooting the climax of the most important film of our lives. 😄 The funniest part? THE BEAUTIFUL & TALENTED! 😍❤️Some relationships are not defined by blood. They are defined by love, trust, memories… and a promise that silently lives on.😍 My dearest Vanshika came to meet me at my office today. I couldn’t be with her on her birthday on the 15th, though I had called and wished her. So today became our little birthday celebration. We spoke about books, films, her studies, dreams, and, as always, so many memories (of Satish) that make our conversations special. Time simply flew by.🥹 Before she left, I wanted to give her something she would carry with her every single day. So I surprised her with a new phone. It wasn’t really about the gift. It disturbed me deeply. And then I thought of sharing this song from Tanvi The Great—a song that our Army officers themselves are loving and forwarding. Because real Gen Z is not only about attitude. AND IT IS A WRAP…. ❤️🕉🙏 Last night, we completed the picture wrap of Sooraj Barjatya’s #YehPremMolLiya. I’ve known Sooraj from the time he was an assistant on my very first film, Saaransh. Since then, we have shared the journey of more than eight films together. Watching him evolve into one of the greatest storytellers of our times has been a privilege. In a world where cinema, like everything else, is constantly changing, Sooraj has remained beautifully constant. He has protected and celebrated the ethos of Indian families, relationships, compassion and values without ever compromising on honesty or emotion. That is his greatest strength. 40 YEARS OF KARMA! 🎬❤️ 40 years ago, KARMA happened! And what a blockbuster it was! What a film! What memories! What a turning point in my life!😎❤️ #Saaransh had established me as an actor. But Subhash Ghai Sahab’s KARMA made me a commercial star. Suddenly, I was part of that larger-than-life world of mainstream Hindi cinema. And I was loving every moment of it! 😍 But the greatest gift Karma gave me was the privilege of working with the one and only Dilip Kumar Saab. To share the screen with him, to watch him perform from such close quarters, to learn from his silences, his pauses, his presence — that was my real award. I PRAY FOR NEPAL! 💔🥹💔 Deeply saddened and horrified by the devastation caused by the sudden floods in Nepal. Lives lost. Families torn apart. Homes washed away. Helpless animals caught in the destruction. It is heartbreaking to imagine how, in a few moments, everything someone calls their own can disappear. Watching these scenes, I feel such helplessness. What words can possibly comfort someone who has lost a loved one? My heart goes out to the grieving families and to everyone living through this fear and uncertainty. I pray for the people of Nepal and for those affected across the border in Tibet. May those still waiting for help be reached. May those searching for their loved ones find them safe. And may those who have lost everything find support, shelter and a hand to hold. I hope the world comes together to help—with compassion, with urgency, and with whatever each of us can give. सच से लोगों को सबसे ज़्यादा डर तब लगता है, जब वह उनके एजेंडे के अनुकूल नहीं होता। कुछ दिन पहले मैंने राम मंदिर में हुई चोरी के बारे में जो कहा, पूरी ईमानदारी और ज़िम्मेदारी से कहा। आज भी अपने हर शब्द पर कायम हूँ। लेकिन कुछ लोगों को सच से ज़्यादा एक मुद्दा चाहिए होता है। उन्हें बहस चाहिए, विवाद चाहिए, शोर चाहिए। इसलिए बात को तोड़-मरोड़कर पेश किया गया। मैं सिर्फ़ इतना कहना चाहता हूँ मैं न पहले कभी डरा हूँ, न आज डरता हूँ, और न आगे डरूँगा। ट्रोल्स हों, तथाकथित इन्फ्लुएंसर्स हों या नेता! किसी के शोर से मेरी बात नहीं बदलेगी। जो मुझे सही लगेगा, मैं वही कहूँगा। आप सहमत हों या असहमत, यह आपका अधिकार है। लेकिन सच बोलना मेरा अधिकार भी है और मेरा कर्तव्य भी। बाक़ी… जिसे जो करना है, वह करे। मैं जैसा हूँ, वैसा ही रहूँगा। जय श्री राम! 😍🕉🙏

MOM IS BACK! AND SO HER LOVE! ❤️ माँ डेढ़ महीने शिमला में रहने के बाद वापस आईं। बहुत दिनों बाद मिला तो देखा, थोड़ी दुबली हो गई हैं। मुझे बिल्कुल अच्छा नहीं लगा। पूछो तो कहती हैं—“भूख नहीं लगती!” लेकिन उनका वही पुराना जोश, वही शरारत और किस्सों का खज़ाना आज भी बरकरार है।🥹🥹 कभी सबके पैसे खुद देने की ज़िद, कभी भाई साहब की कूड़ेदान में फेंकी हुई खाँसी की दवाई की बोतल निकाल लाना! उनके किस्से इतने होते हैं कि वीडियो बीच में रोककर दोबारा रिकॉर्ड करना पड़ा! भाभी रीमा कितनी ख़ूबसूरती से माँ का ख्याल रखती! उनकी बातों की, उनके जज्बातों की धीरे धीरे interpreter भी बन गई है! ❤️🩹🥹 माँ के किस्से दुनिया के सबसे खूबसूरत किस्से होते हैं। उनकी हर बात में मासूमियत है, अपनापन है और ज़िंदगी है। सच कहूँ तो माँ सिर्फ़ हमारे घर को नहीं, अपनी मौजूदगी से पूरी दुनिया को खूबसूरत बना देती हैं।😍 आज उनसे मिलकर एहसास हुआ कि मैंने उन्हें कितना ज़्यादा मिस किया था। माँ, आप बस यूँ ही हँसती रहो, बोलती रहो, अपने किस्से सुनाती रहो… और हाँ, थोड़ा खाना भी खाया करो। ❤️😍 #DulariRocks

I have always been an eternal optimist. But even I had never imagined that one day the entire world would suddenly come to a standstill. Just six years ago, COVID happened. I still remember coming back from New York and landing in Mumbai. The city I had always known as crowded, noisy, restless and full of life was completely deserted. I had never seen Mumbai like that. It was frightening. And I am sure each one of us has a memory from those days which we will never forget. During that time, perhaps to make myself feel better about the world and about life, I started making these little videos called “Bittoo Meets Anupam.” Bittoo, my childhood nickname, was the younger me meeting the present-day Anupam. They would talk, argue, laugh and somehow reassure each other that this too shall pass. And it did. I am revisiting those videos today not to remind us of the fear, but to remind us of what we survived.🥹😍 Sometimes remembering difficult times can make our present problems look a little smaller. Maybe it can help us hold on to less anger, less bitterness, less hate… and make a little more room for kindness, humour and gratitude. Because if those days taught us anything, it was this: Life can change without warning. So while it is here, let’s live it a little more gently.
