I was pretty skeptical about the drones thing... Looked up tonight from my house in rural NJ and one flew right over our house.. Not very high and making ZERO noise. Idk what it was but def not a plane. Red and Green lights on bottom.

Lots of confusion about this coastal storm. It has TWO distinct phases.. 1 - Now thru early Fri (high confidence) - Long lasting onshore windstorm from the Carolinas through the Mid Atlantic 2 - Friday thru the weekend (low-medium confidence) - Beastly #NorEaster in Northeast

The new most intense live tornado coverage I've ever been part of. So happy nobody was in that house. Shot out @brandoncopicwx for the incredible footage and the immediate search/rescue

Full chat with NWS Storm Prediction Center's Evan Bentley about what went wrong with Monday's MDT Risk forecast and some of the response from the public.. Amazing talk, Evan was a super cool guy, very transparent and I appreciate the time! Sorry I only got a few of your Qs in.. #wxtwitter

Great example of humility from our boy James Spann last week in the face of typical drama from the current iteration of #wxtwitter.. Young broadcasters, watch and learn.. believe me - there's NO better way to build trust with your viewers than being humble

Explanation of what jet contrails are and how they form. "Chemtrails" are not a thing. They literally don't exist. If you've been convinced of this theory, I implore you to open your mind that you've been duped. It happens to the best of us. I come in peace

Nerded out on this pic for almost a full block 🤓 Killer shot of the hailstorm that hit Springfield MO on Tue. SO much juicy meteorology in one photo. Ty Cameron Nixon for insight and NWS Springfield for an EPIC explanation in NWSchat (you guys need to release that publicly!)

NWS did an exceptional job forecasting an extremely difficult flooding situation in TX the other night.. Anyone blaming them is just blatantly ignorant of the chain of events. The overnight timing played a huge part in the deaths imo. Horrific situation NWS Weather Prediction Center NWS Austin/San Antonio
