This is NOT me being a bitter fan. I genuinely love baseball. I’ve had conversations with one of the most powerful execs in the league who has said the salary cap issue is going to impact 2027. Even one of the richest teams in MLB has execs calling for it. I don’t count people’s money. What I care about is having a season and unfortunately this trade is going to make that less likely in 2027.

Last year I was in Aruba sitting at a bar watching the Kentucky Derby. I bet Sovereignty because of this man. Everyone at the bar was like YOU KNOW HORSE RACING?! It's crazy to think how I just picked up & left for North Carolina without knowing anyone and became a sports anchor.
