Private investors will be happy though. For their investment of £4.7 BILLION in equity, they will own 55.1% of Sizewell, with expected annual returns of 10.8% -13%. Whilst get higher bills! Brilliant. So when Ed Miliband signed this deal in July 2025, promising to bring bills “down for good”. He didn’t really mean it.
