Ella was one of the most terrified and nervious fosters I ever took on. But after building a bond and gaining her trust, she became the most loyal dog ever. Ella continues to thrive and hasn't left my side even to this day 🩷

My heart sank when I first saw how terribly Lucy was treated. She was clearly abused and bred very hard. Luckily, she was given a chance and now she's in paradise and in forever home 💛

Sheep doodles are getting dumped at shelters at an alarming rate, Kelso is a perfect example ❤️

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share that our sweet Velveteen passed away at 2:00 a.m. last night. We are absolutely devastated. We fought so hard for her, and she fought so hard too. We love you, Velveteen. We will never stop fighting for you.

You're never fully prepared for the adorable faces you'll see when you meet a rescue dog for the first time. You can tell they know they're safe by the joy on their faces 💗

It hurts. It hurts a lot. 💔 I will not give up hope and continue to look for him while continuing to show up for my sanctuary every day. I appreciate you very much. If anyone has any information regarding Sherman, please let us know. We miss him terribly.

As many of you already know, the most difficult aspect of animal rescue is often not the animals, it’s the people. Velveteen worked for months to come out of her shell and was finally ready for her forever home. This was one of the most frightening experiences of my career.

This one was one of the most difficult rescue missions l've ever been on, I was shocked to see how these frenchies were "living" and I made it my goal to get them out of there. They have all been adopted and we kept two 💛

Xena the warrior princess was so terrified when I met her, she hit behind the couch and it took so long for her to warm up and transform into the beautiful dog she is today 💙

Clovers puppies will be available for adoption on August 1st but my little nugget is already home. He’s going to meet some of his new brothers and sisters later today ❤️

This video was filmed a couple weeks before Sherman went missing. I was in a really good place when I recorded it. I was clear, grounded, and proud of the work I’ve done around my relationship with alcohol. Right now, I’m in a very different place. I’m tired. I’m heartbroken.

English Mastiffs have a way of taking up all the space in your house… and your heart.❤️🐾 I’ve had five English Mastiffs over the years… and I’m pretty sure by next year I’ll have five more. LOL. Once you experience the love of a Mastiff, it’s hard to imagine life without one.
