Pat Narduzzi was asked about becoming Pitt football's longest tenured head coach tonight. "I came here in 2015 to coach at Pitt. I had no intentions of ever leaving. I've had opportunities to leave, I've stayed." He pulled a quote out of his suit jacket that his late father used to carry with him. "Remember this - if you work for a man in heaven's name, work for him. If he pays your wages, which supplies you bread and butter, work for him. Speak well of him, stand by him, stand by the instiution he represents...that's what it comes down to is being loyal."

Carmelo Anthony has been at nearly every Syracuse home game to watch his son play 🍊🏀 Kiyan Anthony told me that Melo usually flies up the day of, and they get in a workout together pregame. SU senior safety Devin Grant took a knee tonight as the clock finally expired on a 3-9 season and watched his teammates shake hands. Took it all in. Stayed like that for a long time. Multiple Syracuse seniors visibly emotional, tears down their faces, postgame. Anwar Sparrow and Duce Chestnut went out to midfield. Just stood there for a while. Last football game many of these guys will ever play after a lifetime of them
