When a college coach — particularly at an HBCU — can be handcuffed after a basketball game without clear justification, the public deserves answers. Accountability, transparency, and respect for civil rights are not optional. This matter will be addressed through the proper legal channels. We will continue to closely monitor developments.

Student Tased by Law Enforcement at Langston Hughes High School Speaks Out Today’s press conference addressed a deeply disturbing incident involving a student who was tased by law enforcement on the campus of Langston Hughes High School. Surrounded by his family and attorneys, Harry Daniels and Gerald Griggs, the student courageously spoke out as we demanded transparency, accountability, and justice following the use of force against a minor in a school setting. We stand firmly with this student and his family. Schools must be places of learning—not trauma. This incident raises serious questions about how young people are treated and the standards governing law enforcement interactions with students. #LangstonHughesHighSchool #FultonCountyGA #FultonCountySchools

Nationally renowned civil rights attorneys Benjamin Crump, Harry Daniels, and Gerald Griggs are investigating a troubling pattern of excessive force by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, following the release of video showing a violent arrest in Clay County. The case centers on 24-year-old #DashaunWilliams, who was arrested in November at a gas station in Middleburg. Video from the scene appears to show officers repeatedly beating and kicking Williams during the encounter. “The public deserves answers,” the attorneys said. “There appears to be a pattern of excessive force against Black people in Jacksonville, Florida—and Dashaun deserves accountability for the injuries he suffered.” This investigation goes beyond a single incident—it raises serious questions about systemic conduct and whether accountability will finally follow. #JSO #News #Jacksonville

Juneteenth has deep roots in Limestone County, Texas. In the years after 1865, formerly enslaved people began gathering at Comanche Crossing near Mexia to celebrate freedom—what became one of the earliest and largest Juneteenth celebrations in the country. The community later bought the land and renamed it Booker T. Washington Park, where celebrations have continued for over 150 years. It’s also where the term “Juneteenth” was first used. From jubilation to justice—including the tragedy of the Comanche Three in 1981—Limestone County’s Juneteenth is a powerful symbol of resilience, memory, and Black freedom in motion. ✊🏾 #Juneteenth #LimestoneCounty #BlackHistory #TexasRoots #BookerTWashingtonPark
