This is what I mean when I say it's OK to condemn rabid (extremist) forms of anti-Zionism as such rather than feel the need to fit it into antisemitism first. Here Hasan Piker says anyone who has ever exhibited any sort of positive feelings about the state of Israel should be precluded from even working as a local dog catcher. And that any kind of Zionist tendency should be treated in the same way as being a rabid neo-Nazi. He then says he's serious about this belief (implying he's not joking or just being hyperbolic). Now, is there an antisemitic component to this specifically? Maybe! But here's the bigger point: Whether there is or isn't, it can (and should) still be condemned as a rabid / extremist form of anti-Zionism and it should be called out as such either way. And just to do a consistency check, there would be no problem with this being recognized if the shoe was on the other foot. If Ben Shapiro said anyone who has ever exhibited any sort of positive feelings about Palestine should become unemployable / lose their jobs/ to the point where they can't even find work as a local dog catcher and should be treated as a rabid Neo-Nazi everyone would easily recognize this as an extremist form of Zionism and condemn it as such. But for some weird reason, it's only when there's an implicit need to funnel any obviously deranged statement clearly coming from one ideology (anti-Zionist extremism) into another (antisemitism) before one is allowed to condemn it as such. In fact, I was only made aware of this clip by someone who sent it to me while asking just that: if I thought this was proof of antisemitism. My response: It's some evidence, not proof. But more importantly this is VERY STRONG evidence of his deranged and RABID Anti-Zionism. And hopefully others take this approach. Extremist forms of ideology should be recognized as such and condemned as such. Anti-Zionist extremism is not a magical exception to this.

And to be fair, Dan is basically just an honest representation of all these other deranged fucks who slather their Jew hate in such plausible deniability. Effective response for this self-immolation case (the ignite to extinguish time) was 1 min 10 sec. That's faster than I expected. But not fast enough. Even just at this point, a gun would still be more merciful than a fire extinguisher. 100% BSA burn. Almost never survivable.
