36 years ago today, on May 19, 1990 at Korakuen Hall, Atsushi Onita went up against Lee Gak Soo in an excellent Different Style Fight as Soo laid it into Onita with kicks and Onita laid it in with his powerbombs before Onita would come away the winner as the two would hug.

24 years ago today, at Korakuen Hall, the final FMW match ever would happen as Kodo Fuyuki & Sandman would win the WEW Tag Titles against Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Sabu. Sabu would have Hayabusa's chest tattoo painted on his chest by Hayabusa prior and wear Hayabusa's mask to the ring.

Happy FMW Day Part 2! 25 years ago on May 5, 2000 would see Hayabusa take a beating from Masato Tanaka by getting a Awesome Bomb through a table, lose a tooth, and become partially paralyzed before defeating Tanaka. Tanaka still has never beaten a Hayabusa in a singles match.

The most random time someone would be known as Hayabusa was when the late Hideki Hosaka who was best known as a rival to Hayabusa for years would wear the mask and attire on November 4, 2006 in WMF. Hosaka's only offense similar to Hayabusa was his ability to do the hurricanrana.
