Such practices leave streets unhygienic, attract pests, and increase the risk of disease, affecting the health and well-being of both residents and animals. Addressing the issue, Mr M Maheshwar Rao, Maheshwar Rao.M, IAS , has issued a stern direction to Bengaluru citizens to feed community dogs and other animals only in designated GBA feeding zones to help maintain cleanliness and public hygiene.
