BREAKING: U.S. Army Patriot PAC-3 long-range air-defense batteries are attempting to shoot down incoming Iranian ballistic missiles launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force at Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base and Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan, using MIM-104F interceptors. BREAKING: The IRGC Aerospace Force has just launched three Khorramshahr-3 or 4 ballistic missiles from its Al-Qadir ballistic missile base in Yazd, central Iran, toward a U.S. military base somewhere in Jordan. These ballistic missiles are equipped with cluster munitions and can present a particularly difficult interception challenge for the U.S. Army’s Patriot PAC-3 air-defense systems. Their cluster-munition payloads can disperse submunitions across a wide area, potentially damaging multiple aircraft parked in the open on the aprons and ramps of an air base. However, I doubt that many valuable aircraft remain at the targeted base, as the U.S. military has most likely evacuated or dispersed them in anticipation of further Iranian ballistic-missile attacks.

The airbase housed a recently reactivated MIG-23UB combat trainer, Su-22UM/M4 fighter-bombers and L-39 advanced jet trainers, while Syria has also been attempting to return other surviving Assad-era combat aircraft to operational condition. According to my sources in the IDF, the Israeli Air Force used CBU-94/B “Blackout” cluster bombs equipped with BLU-114/B soft-kill submunitions to induce electrical short circuits at multiple power plants and transformer stations, including those in the Pirouzi district of eastern Tehran. The aluminum filaments dispersed by these submunitions have adhered to wiring, transformers, and other electrical components, disrupting their function and preventing electricity generation. Once these materials are removed and affected components are cleaned and repaired, power can be restored in Tehran and Karaj. It has now been established that what happened in the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla was a successful example of hybrid warfare orchestrated by the Moroccan government against Spain. Nearly 50,000 Moroccan nationals were transported from towns and villages across Morocco using trucks and other heavy vehicles organized by the government before being funneled into the two Spanish enclaves. The objective was to exert political pressure on the Spanish government in an effort to force concessions over Morocco's long-standing claim to Ceuta and Melilla.

BREAKING: Unfortunately, the Ukrainian Air Force has lost another of its valuable MiG-29 fighter interceptors, this time over Odesa. The MiG-29 was preparing to engage an incoming Russian one-way attack drone with an air-to-air missile but the missile malfunctioned during launch. Its rocket motor ignited, but the missile failed to separate properly from its launcher and remained attached beneath the aircraft’s wing. The burning rocket motor subsequently caused serious damage to the MiG-29, leaving the pilot with no option but to eject. Fortunately, the pilot survived, but the valuable MiG-29 was lost and subsequently destroyed.

An #USAF F-16C pilot from the 55th Fighter Squadron outmaneuvered an #Egyptian Rafale DM in a dogfight. The IDF falsely claimed that the aircraft was associated with the Quds Force, which is absolutely untrue. It was a tanker aircraft used to refuel F-4E Phantom IIs and was a veteran of Operation H-3, having refueled IRIAF F-4Es that struck the H-3 air bases in Iraq on April 4, 1981. 1981 was also the last year this aircraft flew to Syria, when it refueled IRIAF F-4Es at an altitude of just 100 feet over the Iraqi-Syrian border. It was never used by the Quds Force and never carried any weapons or ammunition for them.
