🎬: Gu San-yeong is a struggling student who inherits a cursed red daenggi from her dad. The hair ornament carries a demon that starts killing people and possessing her. The more it feeds on her desires, the stronger it gets. She teams up with Yeom Hae-sang, a folklore professor who can see ghosts. He has been hunting the same demon since it murdered his mother as a child. Together with detective Lee Hong-sae, they investigate supernatural deaths tied to the five sacred objects and old sins from the past. It is a 12-episode race to uncover the demon’s true name and exorcise it before San-yeong loses herself completely. Dark, creepy, and rooted in Korean folklore.

🎬: After Taylor crashes on the ape-ruled planet, he’s captured and locked in a cage at the Ape City zoo. The apes treat him like a wild animal. Dr. Zira, a chimpanzee scientist who’s sympathetic to him, tries to study his behavior. She brings Nova, a mute human woman who’s been living wild in the Forbidden Zone, into his cage. The idea is to see if Taylor will interact with another human, and the apes clearly intend it as “mating behavior” observation. It’s awkward and uncomfortable for Taylor. Nova is feral, doesn’t speak, and he’s disgusted and frustrated by the situation. He yells at the apes watching him, calling it dehumanizing. He doesn’t get intimate with her there. Later on, Taylor and Nova form a bond and travel together, but that first “introduction” in the cage is set up by the apes as an experiment, not something he consents to.
