For good and bad this JJK OP is a simmering hotbed of chaotic visual presentation but you have to admit Gosso understood the assignment when it came to tackling the incoherent makeup of the Culling Games. Not to mention the impressive referential nods to contemporary art pieces.

Never thought I'd see the day where some fairly competent 2D horse animation was a remote possibility but you never know with Fate/Strange Fake. Further complemented by some really good character drawings, vfx and BG debris, it's an amazing spectacle.

Without a doubt the standout animation powerhouse sequence in UmaMusu CinGray's climax was Dicta Striker's fierce comeback. Yuuta Haruna's 春名雄太 cuts borrowed thoroughly from Takeshi Maenami's prolific work on Road to the Top. You can really feel the latter's influence.

No offense to anyone still enjoying it but SasaKoi barely shows signs of holding itself together. So many visual discrepancies are a clear sign of poorly handled animation work. Even the live band segments and music don't necessarily mesh together well.
