Despite fans and pundits alike thinking they were tears of relief at having won yet another epic, Murray would go on to admit in his Resurfacing documentary a year later that he'd actually been emotional because he thought his career was over due to the intense physical pain matches like this were having on his body. He would later withdraw from the tournament before the next round... I'll never forget watching this. 💔
