Corbin Carroll may lead the league in triples every single year of his career Does he eventually make a run at the career record? Or does it remain one of the mainstays on the “unbreakables” list He has 2 more tonight, making that 16 on the season

Can we all agree this is BAD BASEBALL across the board? Friedl dropping a routine fly ball, Amaya still standing on first base It’s a tie game in the 8th and we’re not trying to get on 2nd base out of the box?

Man do we LOVE when swing changes work. Left: Pete in early April starting with a flat barrel and his hands higher Right: In the midst of an 11-game hitting streak with his hands lower and his leg lift more appropriately timed

Forget Paul Skenes…you get every dollar in circulation if you can get a solid base hit off of Louis Varland I’ll give you 100 chances

Top 5 Unluckiest Teams by wOBA-xwOBA: 1. Cincinatti Reds .288 ➡️ .320 2. San Diego Padres .307 ➡️ .338 3. New York Mets .284 ➡️ .309 4. Seattle Mariners .308 ➡️ .331 5. Detroit Tigers .319 ➡️ .341 Do these numbers & teams surprise you?

Let’s walk through what happened here: Bryce Eldridge hit this ball so hard it landed 10 ft behind the SS and still got to the wall before the outfielders touched the warning track This dude is scary when he’s consistently making contact 👀

Austin Hays was made for an old school organization like the White Sox No batting gloves, stirrups, and a real wallop of a swing. His first PA with his new club and he deposits one to the berm in LF

Feel free to disagree, but why on earth are guys still sliding feet first into bases on close tag plays? It is exponentially easier to stay with the bag using your hands vs. feet and we see outs like this every single night

Julio Rodriguez through 135ish PA the last 3 seasons: 2024: .270/.308/.325 | 4.5% BB | 30.1% K | 89 wRC+ 2025: .207/.313/.371 | 11.2% BB | 23.9% K | 99 wRC+ 2026: .256/.333/.355 | 8.9% BB | 22.2% K | 100 wRC+ Is J-Rod a superstar, or does he just have superstar qualities?

Gunnar Henderson is a top tier player and everyone knows it, so approach aside, what changes are we seeing this year that have spiked the K-Rate? A Thread 🧵 (📊 by Evan Flax)

For those wanting to see Schoop’s mammoth shot

Joe Mack is going to win many, many gold gloves at the big league level Nasim Nunez leads MLB with 22 SB this year and Mack guns him down here… On a change up. Without a slide step.

Luis Arraez with runners in scoring position and 2 outs since 2022: 249 PA .332/.410/.405 127 wRC+ 2.0% K .814 OPS 30.2% LD Two guys the other end of that spectrum:Matt Chapman & Willy Adames. The Giants lineup just got better during critical ABs whether you like it or not

Lucas Giolito’s 4th MiLB start since being signed by the Padres was by far his best, finding some rhythm on the dot 6 IP | 3 H | 0 R | 0 BB | 3 K For a team like the Padres that have produced 7th LEAST amount of IP by starting pitchers, Giolito can’t come soon enough

For the SIXTH straight season, Jose Altuve reaches the 15 HR mark One of the most consistent 2B in the game of baseball since 2012! A sure fire HoF add when his time is up

Top 5 Players with the most 105+ MPH Oppo Fly Balls since 2024: 1. James Wood: 33 2. Aaron Judge: 28 3. Juan Soto: 23 4. Pete Alonso: 22 5. Rafael Devers: 20 This one went 413 ft and came off the bat at 112.2 mph. UP AND IN, LEFT ON LEFT😱

Situationally, if you’re Bryce Teodosio, why are you even moving off of third base here? Good jump from Neto off the a LHP and one of your best hitters at the plate with man on 3rd, less than 2 outs. Just let him take the bag

For those wondering how...

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we refer to as a rally killer Down 6, tag one for 3…still down three with not much time left

Take away the first 3 games of the year and this is who Jonah Heim has been as a switch hitting catcher: 35 PA .281/.314/.500 5(1) XBH(HR) .349 wOBA 120 wRC+ 8.6% K/5.7% BB The Braves were 9-2 in the 11 games he caught, which included 4 shutouts

Vintage Mike Trout defense. What a perfect throw from left-center to cut down a Jarred Kelenic double

UCONN Baseball has So. Jackson Marshall. He is 6’8”, 275 lb. and he hits absolute TANKS He transferred in from So. NH University and absolutely makes this Huskies lineup better. Excited to keep eyes on him this season

During Arte Moreno's tenure as Angels owner, here are the top 5 leaders in PA. Can you guess who number 3 is? 1. Mike Trout: 7765 2. Albert Pujols: 5053 3. 4. Howie Kendrick: 4419 5. Chone Figgins: 4063

This guy should be in the lineup for all 162 in Pittsburgh He changes the dynamic for everyone and that style of play is what will get runs on the board to help their very solid starting rotation

This is the most shocking non-tender I think I’ve seen so far Tim Elko had a very solid year at the AAA level slashing .292/.357/.552 while popping 26 💣 & 70 RBI Only given 72 PA at the big league level and still has not cracked his 6 years of controllable service time 🤔🤔

Pete Alonso decided he wanted a 3rd at bat today and he did not disappoint This ball was clobbered for his first 💣 in an Orioles uniform

Nothing I love more in college baseball than a guy pumping 99 up eleven and getting stoked about a K College baseball is baseball in its purest form

Is Tyler Phillips the newest "Psycho Closer" MLB has been waiting for? A Thread 🪡🧵

Nolan Arenado is starting to figure it out and the rest of baseball should be worried Last 5 Games: .368/.350/.842 20 PA .497 wOBA 214 wRC+ 3 HR 9 RBI The Diamondbacks will be on another level if he starts to really get going for an extended period of time

What is Joe Mack bad at behind the dish? The Answer: NOTHING Net ABS Overturns: +4.6. At one point he had a run of 8 straight overturns This turned the count and led to back to back outs & Max Meyer out of a jam for 7 scoreless innings

I mean this when I say: I don’t think you trade James Wood for an entire orgs top 30 Superstars are so hard to find and develop - The Nats have one, you have to find a way to at least chip into his free agent years, even if you only guarantee yourself 3-4 extra years after arb

For those not aware, Kyle’s brother Aiden Teel is the real deal Transferred to Mississippi State Baseball with Coach O’Connor from UVA. He absolutely raked in the Northwoods League this summer 176 PA .387/.455/.671 1.126 OPS 11 HR 18/21 SB 2 K ‼️ He is BAs #89 Ranked Prospect in 2026

Since July 2018 Warming Bernabel has had a rollercoaster of a time in the Rockies system….He’s been shot, DFA’d, resigned, called-up, and now DFA’d again In 40 Games, Bernabel slashed .252/.288/.410 with 4 HR & 8 2B The 23 year old will find a minor league deal most likely

Sometimes putting the bat on the ball doesn’t becomes hard for a guy until the league he’s playing in shrinks down to a 3-letter acronym Jake Schaffner might be one of those guys 👀

Colson Montgomery joins a short list of short stops in MLB history to have back to back 20+ HR seasons to open their career Other names include: - A-Rod - Cal Ripken Jr. - Nomar - Trevor Story - Bobby Witt Jr - Corey Seager - Carlos Correa The ceiling is HIGH for this dude 💪🏼

It’s a crying shame we didn’t get this technology for Rick Ankiel’s throws from center What were these two throws like in person Drew Goodman?
